I have mixed feelings about the Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum : Ginseng + Retinal, but it is still a really solid product if you know what to expect. On the plus side, the light gel-cream texture is beautiful—it sinks in quickly. It makes the whole eye area look noticeably plumper and smoother. Plus, the 30ml pump bottle is huge for an eye cream, so it lasts forever and stays totally hygienic. On the downside, retinal is a powerful active ingredient, so if you apply it too close to your lash line or use too much, it can cause some temporary eye stinging or watering. It also takes a good month of dedicated, consistent use to see any real shift in dark circles or deep lines, so it is definitely not an overnight miracle worker. Lastly, because it has that silky, slightly emollient slip, it can make your skin look a little too shiny if you try to layer it directly under matte makeup during the day. Still, if you want an effective, non-irritating nighttime treatment for fine lines, it is an absolute bargain.
